The Safesight BSS300R is the first aftermarket blind spot detection system that utilizes radar as the mode of detection. This system is far more accurate than an ultrasonic sensor systems and has far fewer false alarms. Another major difference is that you no longer need to drill holes in your bumper, the radar sensors are designed to mount behind the bumper! When changing lanes blindspots create an incredible hazard and are a leading cause of accidents. In an effort to reduce these accidents automotive manufacturers have turned to their suppliers to create a radar based system that detects vehicles or other objects that are out of the drivers periphery and indicates those obstructions with an LED indicator and audible warning in the event you make a lane change. This system was once only available when you purchased a new car, now you can add this safety feature to any vehicle.

The system provides two LED indicators that when illuminated visually indicate there is a vehicle next to you. If you begin to turn (Turn signal trigger) the system will indicate via it's speaker that there is a vehicle there and warn you to prevent a collision. Turn accident account for 840,000 accidents a year, avoid becoming a statistic by adding this safety feature to your vehicle. The system is much easier to install than an ultrasonic system and typically takes 2-3 hours to install.
