Car Amplifiers
Add the power you need for your car stereo system. Car audio amplifiers allow you to run larger and more detailed speakers. Choose from 2 channel amplifiers, 4 channel amplifiers, car amplifier installation kits, car amplifier power wires, fuses, power distribution, mono amplifiers, RCA cables and speaker wires.
A monoblock amp is a single-channel amplifier for subwoofers. A "digital" amp is a term for a class D amplifier. A car audio amp takes an analog input and produce analog output. Monoblock amps very commonly made of class D architecture. Only a few are class AB. Most class D amps are designed for bass frequencies and won't play mid-range or high frequencies.

A 2 channel amplifier can operate two channels from a single box which is intended for a left speaker and a right speaker. A bridged 2 channel amplifier is designed to operate inline with the effect of a more powerful one-channel amplifier. Features include MOSFET transistor outputs, MOSFET power supply, PWM circuitry, full selectable crossover and more.

In the case of a 4 channel amplifier, use two channels to drive a pair of full-range speakers, and bridge the other 2 channels to power a subwoofer. Among many features of a 4 channel amplifier are remote subwoofer level control, tri-mode operation, bridgeable channels and max bridged power to 1000W.

6 channel amplifiers are a great solution to upgrade your factory or aftermarket car stereos. A 6 channel amplifier has 4 channels for your 4 full range speakers plus two channels for your subwoofer. The crossovers and adjustments are built in. A 6 channel amplifier makes your system sound better.

To power up your subwoofers, install a mono amplifier. Among many features of a mono amplifier are low frequency reproduction, built in bass boost and low pass filters. A class D mono amplifier brings out less heat, are more efficient and draws less current.

Equalizers feature multiple bands, parametric panels and graphic controls. Additional options include PWM power supply, sub gain control, 18 dB octaves, subwoofer crossover, fader and boost controls.

Bass Controls can be remote and parametric. It often has PFM subsonic
filter and bass level manipulations. Bass Control knobs can be flush mounted for
convenience.

Electronic Crossovers are usually for subwoofer level control and have
multiple channels for many car audio setups. Features include fader, equalizer and boost
panels.

A car amplifier installation kit usually contains a 4 gauge power wire, 4 gauge ground wire, RCA cables, 18 gauge remote wire and 16 gauge speaker wire. Other car amplifier installation kit essentials include a fuse holder, distribution blocks, battery terminal and additional hardware.

1/0 gauge, 4 gauge and 8 gauge car amplifier power wires in a 50 to 500 feet spool are common. Generally, car amplifier power wires have power flex frosted wiring, full specification high current strands, oxygen-free high conductivity copper materials and a tight twist pattern for maximum current.

Speaker wires come in 10 to 18 gauge and 50 to 500 feet spool. Common speaker wire options offer clear speaker wire, blue silver and red silver skins. Bare wire connectors on both ends are present.
