The CompVT Subwoofer has upped the ante in world-class bass engineering for low profile subwoofers. What was previously thought not to be possible in a low profile subwoofer and been brought to market by Kicker with the sure to be legendary CompVT subwoofers. The woofer’s stiff, injection-molded, modified-spoke cone is shaped to provide maximum excursion from a slender basket, allowing better strength and durability.

Keeping cool and staying solid

The CompVT uses an advanced heat management system, perimeter venting. This new feature allows the voice coil to be cooled with air that circulates in between the pole piece and the voice-coil. This technology reduces heat from the two critical pieces of the motor structure. With added cooling you get increased reliability! The stamped steel basket holds vibration at bay while a pair of high-temp voice coils move an injection molded woofer hundreds of times a second, giving you strong, distortion-free bass.
