Different enclosure types such as bass reflex, acoustic suspension, infinite baffle, horn loaded, tapped horn, transmission line and bandpass are available for subwoofers or subs. Many subwoofer boxes are constructed with medium-density fiberboard, oriented strand board (OSB), plywood, plastic or other dense materials.
