Hi there QMV i just bought a Kenwood KAC-D8105 5-Channel Amp after seeing a test video of yours but i need some help in tuning this Amp? The Treble is very sharp and seems to be too high because it hurts my ears after a few minutes of listening to music at about a level of 10 which is not loud at all.. Lorenzo has been great in helping me learn to install my system so i thank you! I look forward to your reply, Harry
This is very dependent on the type of speakers and receiver that you are using.
- Are the speakers a component speaker? If they are, there should be an option to set the tweeter level. You would want in this case to adjust this to -2 or -3 setting.
- Does your headunit have an EQ? If it does you would want to start making your adjustments in the 1KHZ - 4KHz range, adjust these at least 3db or more and see if the cleans up the sound for you.
