To improve on an already great design is no easy feat. However Pioneer has improved on their legendary TS-A series speakers with improved sound quality while maintaining their exceptional price. The new an improved design brings more life to the bass with its improved dynamic range.

Tweeters and Midrange

A-Series speakers have a smooth off-axis response, they feature a soft dome tweeter that utilizes a wave guide. This wave guide design ensures mid and high frequencies that emit in a uniform and wide dispersion patter. This results in a smooth response both on and off axis. This remains the same as last year. New for this year, Pioneer has an improved fibre cone that is the best in rigidity while remaining light for quick mid-bass. The tweeter in these next generation TS-A series speakers has been improved and provides the best sound under all conditions, regardless of listening position or car. The largest improvement has been the lowering of the crossover frequency creating a wider response and more accurate and fluid vocals.

Oversized Cone

The cone is 14% larger that cones on conventional 6 x 9 inch speakers yet they will fit in the exact same cutout. The result is improved and more powerful mid-bass with added low extension.
