Pioneer improves on it's already famous TS-Series shallow mount subwoofers with the introduction of the 2nd generation. These low profile subwoofers fit behind a truck seat or in any tight space while delivering the bass performance you need. This 8 inch subwoofer can be installed in a ported or sealed enclosure and Pioneer recommends the UD-SW80D Down firing subwoofer enclosure (Sold separately) as this enclosure is designed for this sub. The Pioneer TS-SW2002D2 can also be used in infinite baffle configurations and IB setups use the trunk as the enclosure!
