The Axxess AXDIS-FD3 provides the connections needed to install an aftermarket radio in select 2020–2023 Ford vehicles with non-amplified audio systems. It retains steering-wheel audio controls and retained accessory power while providing 12-volt, 10-amp accessory power and navigation outputs for the parking brake, reverse gear, and vehicle-speed signal. Its auto-detect steering-wheel-control technology simplifies setup, while the Micro-B USB port allows firmware updates. Vehicles with a factory amplifier require the separately sold Axxess AXA2B-FD1 amplifier-retention interface. The AXDIS-FD3 does not retain Ford SYNC.
