- Intro
- The THIN-13 is now the shallowest woofer on the market! Coming in at a mere 2 of depth, they will fit behind rear crew-cab truck seats, under many front seats, or even in a door with some custom fabrication! While other shallow mount subwoofers are available, they typically require traditional airspace. The THIN-13 is 13.25 in diameter and not only does it play well in 1 cubic foot (typical for most 8-10 woofers), but it reproduces lower frequency response than most 12 woofers in much larger enclosures. No more whining about not having a subwoofer available that will fit in virtually every vehicle! THIN-13 has you covered.
- We took the gift box and beefed it up to 1/8 thick. The sub played flat all the way down to the subsonic range!
- Need to use the slimmest subwoofer available in your truck, but cant find the proper box for it? Power Acoustik is offering you the THIN-13BX, which is an engineered .6 cubic foot enclosure, pre-loaded with a THIN-13 woofer. THIN-13BX was designed with the truck owner in mind. Its shallow depth, only 5 at the bottom, makes it an ideal fit behind the seat of a standard cab, or the rear seats of a full size truck. It is also beneficial as a space saver in the trunk of a sedan, or cargo area of an SUV.
- All that is needed to bring-on-the-thump is a small 2-channel amplifier that, when bridged with a 4 ohm load, generates 700 watts. This slim-fit design has a low-end frequency response of 20-500Hz, definitely covering the range of any bass notes from your favorite track.
