Boss Audio R6002 Riot Series 2 Channel Class AB Full Range Amplifier - 1200 Watts
- Boss Audio R6002 Riot Series Class AB Amplifier
- Stable performance at 2 ohms
- RMS Power @ 4 ohms: 450 Watts x 2
- Versatile amplifier
- 2 Channel RCA Inputs
- Total Power Output of 1200Watts
The attractive Riot Series is a 1200W 2 Channel Full Range, Class AB Amplifier generates a maximum of 1200W power with a minimum 2 ohm impedance. Full range class AB amplifiers easily power door speakers or subwoofers and have the capability to generate high quality sound with minimal distortion. Class AB amplifiers are extremely linear and have reduced distortion but are not as power efficient as Class D amplifiers. Enjoy superior sound!
This two channel amplifier is capable of being bridged. Bridging channels in an amplifier is a feature where you combine the output of two channels to power a single or dual subwoofer. The MOSFET or Metal Oxide Semiconductor Field Effect Transistor which is used to to create the high current power supply and is far superior when compared to other FETs. The built in thermal protection circuits turns off and lets the amplifier cool down to prevent damage. Additional features like the Speaker level inputs, Subwoofer level control, Variable gain control, Variable bass boost, Fixed High-Pass Filter and Variable low pass filter provides the user with a clean input signal and the to customize and tune into your audio system.

Car amplifier installation
We show you the complete process of installing a Pioneer Double DIN car stereo in a Chevy truck. The in-depth video shows the installation of the interface, and steering wheel control.
Amplifier Installation basics
Let's start with the basics of adding or installing a car amplifier. First you will need to plan your installation and power wiring, this usually is the most difficult part of the installation for most.
How to choose the proper wire size explained
What size power wire do I need for my amplifier? Well, that depends on the length of the wire and the power consumption of the amplifier. We walk you through how to choose the right gauge wire and wire material depending on your amplifier installation requirements.
How to wire speakers and subwoofers to your new amplifier
In our third video we demonstrate the various ways you can wire speakers and amplifiers to all types of amplifiers. There different ways to do this depending on the type of amplifier you choose to purchase.
What is gain? How do I set it properly?
In our fourth video we demonstrate how to set the gains on your amplifier to prevent damage to your speakers, subwoofers and even possibly your new amplifier. Using a portable oscilloscope we show you how to set your gains.
